Daily-driveable coilovers?

Right now my car has JIC coilovers, and even though they're at the softest setting, I still lose my fillings every time I go over an expansion joint or over uneven roads. I do have polyurethane bushings, so that doesn't help, but is there any assembled coilover setup that's sold that is any softer? The JIC's springrates seem too agressive for normal roads that aren't perfectly level, and I drive my car in mountains and on highways a lot, so it sees bumps and dips here and there.

I was thinking of calling Ground Control and asking them if they could custom make something for dual track/street use, but can anyone call their car's ride (with coilovers) "comfortable"?

You could probably just buy a set of softer springs to use around town.

How many miles are on your JIC's?

5-6k I believe. I don't worry about the durability, the only reason the JIC's blew on my first FC two years ago (after 12,000 miles) was because I had them basically set to full stiff. I learned my lesson and keep the shocks set at "1" for all street driving.

i have tein h1's. 6k front 4.5k rear. its about as stiff as i'd ever go for a daily driven street car. yours must be painful.

You can probably just get different springs for them. The beauty of coilovers is they have standard springs, so just get softer ones!
