Cutting speaker towers for strut tower bar, whats easiest way ?

Cutting speaker towers for strut tower bar, whats easiest way ?

I have a cusco strut bar i need to install into the back of my car, whats the easiest way to cut the metal for a clean finish ?

A hole cutter bit and a drill will do the trick if the bar is round.

yep the bar is more oval than circular, its a cusco strut bar you've probably seen them before. I just need to get this baby installed, along with my shocks then my ride will be so much better.

Can't you bolt the Cusco bar in without cutting? I thought that was how it worked.

any rear strut tower bar you buy will require cutting the speaker towers, there's really no way to avoid it

Only thing I had to cut was some of the carpet around the area where its bolted.

never seen that one before, i guess thats the one exception, most other strut bars dont mount that way
