custom fabbing front bumper?
 

A few different people have mentioned to me custom fabbing a integra bumper onto the top bit of a stock rx7 one. What year integra is the closest fit? And are there any other bumpers that would work besides an integra without too much work? Here's a pic:

Well i personally dont like that front bumper, really ugly actually, but just the fact its custom fabbed and all the work gone into it...thumbs up**. The custom doors is sweet though.

yah, kudos for the custom fab work, but I personally don't like any of it. I do wish I could do custom stuff on my own though :(

Somebody else put up a picture where they kept the Integra round headlights... If you look at the car more from the side, it really makes the front of the car look smashed in. I'll see if I can find the thread.

I am working on making my own front bumper because of a headlight conversion I'm trying, but quite frankly, it may turn out great, it may turn out like shit. If it doesn't improve on the original look of the car, I will put it back to normal...

I was thinking about the upright door conversion, they sell kits for them... It's kinda dope.

If your intent on custom fabbing your own bodykit their are tons of cars out there with similar bodylines. 240s, probes, and 944s are a few. You CAN mold on parts from other cars but the more differant the bodylines are of the donor car the more difficult your fabrication is going to be.

I think the car looks pretty cool, especially from the side... but i can't figure out who the hell would go with those mirrors ;)

Hey now, don't be comparin that body kit to the DeLorean(back to the future car) That mofoo don't play. I'm also voting for "don't like the looks of that body kit". Doors ain't half bad though

That bumper and body kit, like most kits, doesn't even come close to fitting the lines of the car. It just doesn't match the style of the RX-7. The bumper looks all wrong, the side skirts are way too curvy and the whole thing just seems "tacked on". Doors are neat, though I would have gone with a proper gullwing converstion since they are alot easier to make, cooler, and more practical.

i think its damn cool for a diy. wouldnt buy one, but not bad. definately not down with the gay mirrors tho.
