I work at a wrecking yard pulling parts all day and disassembling core engines when it's raining. 7.75/hr right now with an even 42 hours a week, but I get my 90 day performance review in a couple weeks and a $1 raise so yaaay for me.

right now my money goes towards paying off my engine for the daily driver, food, beer, and going out. I'm 19, have owned 2 businesses, and live at home. I used to be an IT guy but I found I enjoy cars more and the pay cut was worth it to be able to get away from retarded old people who wanted a modem installed for $50...but who want to HELP!!

(/rant)

Mods to come on the paycheck after the engine is paid off: rebuild for either a 302 or my 13b...then a volvo turbo and custom manifold and I'll be boosting it up

I'm a programmer for a University. Lots easier than when I was a programmer for yield analysis in the silicon wafer industry. Kinda boring tho.

I am a registerd Architect. I am salaried, and usually put in close to 60 hours a week, when we have a hot and heavy project. One day, I hope to open my own office.

Ah! A body piercer too, how cool to know tattoo artists and piercers are rx7 owners! Interestingly enough my tattoo artist/piercer used to own a 2nd gen, I thought that was cool

I'm an automation engineer, specializing in PLC and SCADA systems. Its cool to play with robots and other big, cool toys, but when you do a water/waste water plant, its gets a little boring.

I budget ~200/ month on my FC. I've been rebuilding it since Jan - an 86 sport, running an S5 N/A motor/intake/etc with a custom wiring harness I made to adapt the S5 ECU to the S4 power and chassis harness.

The trick to the whole thing is that I do everything myself. I rebuilt the motor. I made the wiring adapter (junkyard connectors and a soldering iron). I am in the process of replacing anything that is broken of inoperative, one piece at a time, up to $200 a month. The scary part is that I'm almost done.

My girlfriend and I have been working on and selling sportscars from our home for the last 18 months or so. Pays the bills, nice hours, and keeps fun cars coming and going.

Full time (and then some, 70 hrs/wk usually) mechanic.
Currently saving to goto school and get ASE certification.
Plan on either getting into the race side of things, or aftermarket performance parts engineering (think edelbrock)

Got the mechanics job to "get my foot in the door"

I'm proud to say I enjoy going to work every day.
