curious about what kind of jobs you fc owners have to keep up w/ ur rx-addiction
I am a "Micro Computer Specialist" for the City of Stockton. I spend about $1400 a month on my 10AE. Once I finish this car I think I'm gonna spend some money on golf lessons. I shot like **** today

Bus boy

I hate it more than anything but the tips are decent.
I keep wanting to get mods, but I keep spending it on other things.
I had to spend $1150 on my speeding addiction. I had to pay a lawyer and then I bought a Valentine One. I also got my car repainted
I dont know how you college people have FDs that acutally bought one, I really want one, but no $$$

Lowely lifegaurd 100% goes into my FC and thank god for student loans, paying for my apartment, next mod for me is water injection, cheaper than an Fmic, and it prevents nock/ping, and has a 30% heat capicity

They want to make sure we always have something to do. They are Much, Much better now though.
As far as fused wires. I'm assuming you mean all the electrical problems from the days of Lukas.
I am lucky in that I rarely ever work on anything older than 95.
You know why the brits drink warm beer? because their refridgerators are made by Lukas.

Full time Navy onboard the USS Constellation. I fix Dell PC's here on the ship and run cable for new drops when they're needed. Being underway sucks, but it gives me time to save money to spend on my FC.
During the day I work as an intern at JP Morgan's Wall Street office. The pay is good but most of it goes to rent, damn NYC is to expensive
. At night I work as a bartender, which is the sweetest job in the world. The tips are off the hook. I usually pull in about $250 for a 6 hour shift. Not bad for basicly getting to hang out and bullshit, and the ladies that come into my bar, DAMN!
I usually work two nights a week so thats like $500 a week for my car.

re
stinkfist,
Yea it rocks. It is a real laid back atmosphere as far as doing my own parts. Since everything we do is small quantity, it is very easy to plan ahead to make sure a machine is open for a lunch hour or after hours. Have not made it out to any of the meets yet. Should have the 7 done soon, so I can show it off.
Tried to get a tour setup at the shop when the GA guys were at the Road Atlanta race but did not know about it soon enough to get it set up.....maybe next time.

I don't know if you can/want to, but if you want to make some extra cash making parts, let me know. we have 3 race cars on our team (EP 1st gen, IT7 1st gen, Formula Mazda) and there will be 5 next year (Another IT7 car and a spec miata). We have a machine shop but no CNC machine.
You should come out to our meets anyway. You don't have to come in a 7. Neither of my 7's run right now. I usually go in the F150
Later,
Mike

Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class, US Navy. But, I work part time at a hospital (I am a nationally certified Blood Bank tech) and the 22 bucks an hour pays for the car... Plus, there's a casino nearby, and they just paid for my new exhaust a couple nights ago. *would rather be lucky than good*
I now bus tables at a 5-star French restaurant. Within a few months I'll have enough to buy a rebuilt engine, mod my TII out and perhaps by Spring, I'll be able to buy a 'Vert or mid 80's BMW 5 Series as a daily driver.

We are running #67 green with 2 blue stripes down the middle. Frank Ball is the driver. We mostly run the pro-IT's but do a few SARC's as well. We are doing pretty good this year. If you where there last weekend you saw an awsome battle between Sam and Frank for 2nd and 3rd.
Check out Franks web site for pics and info http://www.balz.myip.org/

I'm a Beef Transformation Technician.
I cook Philly Cheesesteaks at J. Michael's Philly Deli for $7 an hour, $7.50 on my head cook shifts. I'm up for another raise soon (already recieved two $.50 raises. It's a fun job, I like the people I work with. I plan on going to school to be an architectural engineer. My paychecks go to like 10% food, 90% FC (including gas), I occasionally buy misc. stuff for myself, but usually just food.

Part-Timer at a videogame store (hehe). I like my job, but the pay is minimal and I'm not getting the hours I want. In two weeks I start college for Computer Science, but i'm getting cold feet about that, too.
