Cure to stripped bolts?

So I am trying to remove my headlight cover and I come to find the previous owner had stripped a screw on both sides :wallbash:. Is there anyway I can get this screw off so I can replace it? (Where can I buy a set of engine bay screws for the rx7 I seem to have a few missing on the fender and in other places).

you can get these little bits that dig in and reverse the screw out with a drill. or you can drill all the way through it and put in a new screw, which is what i did

as for screws, you can measure the thread and get something matching from your local hardware store, if they carry it. out here its hard to find metric bolts, however.

otherwise just go to the dealership.

Reverse drill bits work nice. Either they thread the screw/bolt out or they drill it and then you can use an extractor. Soak it in penetrating oil first.

i wouldn't go to the dealer... they wanted $7 for one nut for my exhaust manifold
