Crappy problem

Well for some odd reason, the 4 bolts that hold the crank pullet decided to shear, cause me to have a damaged pulley, and no power. Due to this (and I think I know the problem) I need to remove the front shaft bolt, however, I need to stop the motor from spinning, and I have nothing to stop it. The mounting hub for the pulley is the only thing I have to grab onto. Im thinking of doing some cutting, and making it like a nut to get a wrench on to hold it still while I break the bolt loose. I have read the mazdatrix removal, so thats covered. Any ideas?

put it in gear and set the hand brake as hard as you can, just the get the bolt started

during the removal you must have the clutch in, to prevent one of the needle bearings from falling out of place, so putting it in gear wont help

You can still break it loose in gear. Once you get the first half turn, the rest are easy.
