Cracks in Turbine Housing

See pics. I'm porting the wastegate on my S5 turbo. Is any of this going to be a problem?

You can see fine cracks around the waste gate.

There's the obvious cracking, then some really fine stuff above it.

And what makes the turbine wheel look like this?

at this (turbine housing) age - cracking is as normal as it is abnormal...
i cant comment on the turbine wheel as im not holding it on my hand -
but if you are asking if the turbine housing is usable... id probably use it...
there are alot of FC running with turbine housings that look even worst than that...
i mean it wont be 'perfect' but it would work just fine....

id sleep better though replacing it with a lower mileage unit though... (keep in mind it will look just like that over the course of a few years...)

Decided to use it anyway. Porting job came out nice. Gained around 10 to 12 mm, and made more space for the flapper to open.

it will work fine. obviously cracks aren't desirable but if you can find a used turbo that isn't cracked in at least one spot i'll send you a dolla.
