Is there a way for me to test my ECU from an S4? I have my doubts, but just perposing an idea. I think a few of my codes my be missing or messed up. Is there something I can buy to test it with other than a multimeter?

CPU or ECU... one is the body computer, the other is the engine computer.

And a multimeter should be in the tool box of anyone working on cars.

a cheap analog multimeter, just count the sweeps it makes.

do a search for a writeup, ive never checked codes before, but have heard you do this with an analog meter.

it makes sense to set the multimeter on the volts setting, and touch the probe on what ever pin they say, the black probe goes to ground.


you can get a cheap analog meter REALLY cheap, like 5-10 dollar range... time to troll!
