cosmo motor swap! Guru's please help

Ok so i am planning a cosmo swap for my fc, but im unsure about some things, Im already pretty far envolved inthe swap such as i have alot of the money saved up, I just bought a laptop to run my haltec that i am ordering soon, And I am not planning on using the stock turbos for this swap so i had one minor question that i needed to know,

If i am using fc3s. or k2rd motor mounts for the swap and this is an RE motor which turbo manifold should i need to order, i.e. one for the FD or FC? This is prob not a hard question for most, but it has me puzzled.

THanks in advace for the responce,

-Chris

FC manifold would be "safer".

ANd it will still bolt up and not cause fitment issues?

Nope.
The difference between the "FD" and "FC" exhaust manifolds is that the FD version hugs the lower intake manifold an inch closer.

We haven't measured the clearance, but the 13B-REW lower intake manifold are some of the closest profile manifolds out of the 13B series, including the Cosmo 13B-RE.

nope as in it wont bolt up
or nope as in it wont cause fitment issues,

By what you wrote i think thats what you meen, but i just woke up with a hangover and im semi slow anyways, so can you clarify this for me?

THanks Chris

Bolt pattern is all the same for all "13B" engines.&nbsp Hell, you can bolt the manifold up to a 13B 6-port if you want.

The manifold causes the turbo to hit the lower intake manifold.&nbsp It's a matter of fitment issues. :)

so i should have no problems bolting up the hks TII manifold to the engine since its farther then the FD turbo manifold, so that it would not hit the intake, This is also with a tso4 or a t66 installed.
