The sound
it's Too loud without the silencer.. I should get that midpipe..
(clutch slipping I know)
stock vs corksport
this is how it should be mounted
ooh.. that's why it's so loud..
a little remark though.. the exhaust has already some corrosion on it after 6 months!.. but that has to do with the fact they throw salt on the roads in winter here.. and I live near the coast.. below sealevel..

Corksports exhaust is top notch and their customer service is awesome! They sent me new gaskets bc mine were trashed for free...priority mail too!

If you are worried about the sound just buy a 150 dollar borla xr1 and use it where the cat is supposed to go. Changes the tone to a low rumble at idle and a deep rumble at WOT. Almost sounds Ferrari'ish. I had the silenser in for a while and it helped out alot. After a while the corksport silenser will kinda bend and let more exhaust escape. Borla used with corksport will get it done

i got the RB Cat Replacement Pipe w/Presilencer and the Corksport catback. It is loud but not extremely loud. It also has a nice deep tone. After having it for a few days u learn how to keep it quiet if it needs to be I.E. cops.

That might have something to do with it, it is T304 stainless so it won't rust or anything. If you notice discoloration on it the oil on your hands has a bad habit of turning this stuff weird colors after prolonged exposure to heat.
Trust me, I have little hand prints all over my downpipe

yeah my can and tip have turned a little and I have not touched them. thats the only knock I have on the whole system. I was thinking if it gets any darker it might match my gunmetal rims....

Yeah, it does that after a while. Just be glad you didn't touch it, turns just sorta electric blue-gray color.

Somebody asked about the NA CS system... I have a RB header, RB presilencer and CS cat-back on my S5 NA and it sounds good as hell. Low and quiet at idle (900 rpm) and low and loud as hell at WOT. It was a little hollow and raspy sounding when I had a stock manifold and gutted cats, though it sounded OK when my cats where intact, but not as good as it is now. Very happy with it after 3.5 years of great performance.

Yes. We are actually looking at it replacing the current midpipe (Who would buy one that isn't resonated when you could get a resonated one?) But we won't have produced enough for another month or two. So don't hold your breath.
