Corbeau seat brakets wont mount up.

I recenty got some corbeau seat with the brakets that they make for our car.

The problem is that the brakets won't line up with the holes in the mounting floor. when i magage to bolt one up, the ones that are across from it or diagonal to it would be missed aligned...

is there some sort of trick to mounting them?...

cool i just installed one of there seat's..

the trick is too unbolt the seat from the bracket and mount the bracket first then mount the seat on the bracket.the bolts to unmount the seat from the bracket may be under your seat depending on your model.

I had to grind out the holes slightly to give enough clearance. After I did that, they went in fine.

Same with my Recaros..

Yeah..I'm installing new seats right now too. I've got Recaro brackets and they are definately requiring more customizing than I had hoped but they will do the job. I've already got the pass seat in and I had to file away quite a bit of metal here and there to make it work. Oh, what I would give for an electric die grinder....

My major issue right now is that the seats I'm putting in have a thicker bottom than the stock seats and I'm a tall guy so... seats+brackets+sliders= no headroom for me. I'm debating bolting the seats directly to the brackets and eliminating the sliders. That should provide about 1.5" more clearance. Anyway, just a thought if you run into the same issue.
