Coolant missing? hahah

I changed my coolant the other day and it was full. When the engine is hot the expansion tank is over full.
I take off the rad cap and see there is no coolant in the hose. The ADD COOLANT light is on as well is the buzzer. There was enough coolant in there.... but not anymore?

wtf

Something is hindering flow in your cooling system and causing it to go into your overflow tank instead of circulating. Some of the causes could be a bad thermostat, waterpump, clogged radiator.

I had a civic:eek: that was doing the same thing. I changed the thermostat and that didn't fix it. Waterpump was replaced previously not too long ago. Had the radiator flushed and cleaned by a local radiator shop, that was waste of $40. In the end, after alot of head scratching, (I figured the radiator shop would of told me if the radiator was no good...LOL). I just replaced the radiator with a new one and problem went away. Turns out a row in the radiator was completly clogged.

The add coolant light and buzzer aren't controlled by the water temp sensor. They are triggered by the water level sensor located at the top of the rad.
