Confusion with bac delete.

I've installed most of my block off plates and stuff. It was raining outside so i didn't mess with the engine itself yet. The intake is sitting in my room.

Anyway, i'm going about blocking off nipples and stuff and double check to make sure i'm doing it right on the rotary ressurection site. Not sure if he is talking about the coolant bungs on the iron and waterneck or what but it's ok to cap these off? They aren't under any retarded high pressure or anything?

JB weld/brazing is not an option as i might use them for turbo water lines later.

Preemptive thanks for the help.

Yeah they can be capped, but make sure to do it as suggested, as rubber will eventually crack and fail by itself at those locations. Also, I wouldn't remove the BAC on any car. It's one of those things that should be left alone.

Bypassing the BAC and routing a hose directly from the water pump housing to the rear iron is another method. The BAC works just fine with the water lines removed.

I followed the RR website as well and used ultra black RTV, vac cap, and a small hose clamp just to be safe (after draining coolant of course) and everything worked fine.

That's what i had planned on doing.

I already blocked the bac valve off. I dont care about idle quality/emissions.
