Compression Test

I just did a compression test on my 87TII, and I got 100 and 95 on a standard tester. Then I started reading about compression test, and I notice i didn't hold down the needle valve. So are those compression readings i did pointless?

when you hold the Needle down, you are basically looking for THREE even pulses. That tells you that your Apex Seals are "OK".If you only get TWO then you have a Problem. As far as the #'s,That is Not bad.You have some life left on your Engine...If you want to read More on the Compression Test,I suggest www.rotaryresurrection.com and go to Tech and you should be able to find the "how to" on Compression Testing.Welcome to Rotary,NOw go out and Have some FUN!

thanks
Do you think the motor can handle a hybrid turbo upgrade?

With those numbers, I'd say it's safe to say so. Just make sure you have supporting mods.

What would be support mods?
would fmic and injectors be enough

depending on your power.

you could need:

fuel pump
standalone or piggyback
injectors
BOV(optional)
wastegate
