compression test

i just my compression test of a car that wont start it had a compression of about 70 all the way around

you sir now require a rebuild. 70 is low period and unless this is from a freshly rebuilt motor you are in need of one soon.

Make sure you tested compression holding the throttle all the way open. Also best done on a warm engine.

yeah its from a fresh rebuild the car hasnt started since the rebuild so is that acceptabe to make it run

Well if the car hasnt started and youve got equal compression all around the next steps would be to check for spark and fuel since it will obviously crank over for teh test.
