are stock miata shifter compatible with FC's?

cooliomo Mar 2, 2007 02:25 PM

cuz you can get the miata short shifter for them so in my mind the stock shifter would work to right?

good good question

you can make it work even if its not exact. if its too large of a hole you can wrap a little bit of alluminum foil around the shifter threads. if the knob hole is too small you can just drill it out and use a bit of alluminum foil to get it tight.

I think he means the shifter... like the shift lever, not the shift knob.
