Compatability of FC Steering Rack with FD Pump

I am working on the install of an FD engine in an FC, and we are up to the task of making the FC power steering rack mate with the FD power steering pump.

The problem is the FC uses a speed sensitive power steering system which has a stepper motor actuator on the FC power steering pump. There are three hydraulic hoses going between the FC power steering pump and the rack. On the FD the power steering is a normal power assist (ie not speed sensitive), and only has two hydraulic hoses (ie in and out).

So my question is does anybody know how to interconnect the two. I'm not really interested in the "speed sensitive" feature of the FC, as the standard assist power steering is more than adequate. I don't want to go to the trouble of replacing the FC power steering rack if possible. I was wondering what would happen if I connected only two of the three hoses on the FC power steering rack and block the third one ? It's not an option to mount the FC power steering pump on the FD engine as the mounting arrangements and belt feed are totally different.

This going to be a "race car" right? Why not ditch the power steering? People do it on daily drivers anyways.

you can either run the fc pump and ac ps bracket, it will bolt right up to the fd motor, or you can ditch the ps...

I say just ditch it:D

yah, heres a pic of the manual rack i just put in. It looks so much better without the power steering.

Thanks fellas for the suggestions but;
1. The car is a street car (ie not race), and therefore it's better to keep all the "nice" features. Power steering being one of those.
2. I'm in Australia, FC RX7s never came out with manual steering racks here, they were all power assisted. Therefore swapping to a manual rack isn't that simple, also remember the steering wheel is on the right for us, so we can't use a US manual steering rack.
3. I can't use the FC style mounting bracket (holds PS pump and AC compressor), as it interferes with the FD inlet piping. Also we tried to just dummy fit the FC bracket on, and it has different mounting hole positions to the FD block (this was a 1999 FD engine). Also we would have to alter all the belts too, as the FD has multigroove belts and the FC uses V-belts.
These are the reasons why I know have a dilemia.....
