cold air

I built this cold air intake for my car. Check it out and let me know what you think?

Turblown 02-06-02 08:42 PM

nice.. what about the extra curves though? i mean does the extra amout of cold air surpress the air turbulence?

camarokiller 02-06-02 08:44 PM

i noticed the difference.

Turblown 02-06-02 08:49 PM

cool, so how did u do it? i was thinkin about that too but thought....hhmmm for and extra MAYBe2 hp, why cut the shit outta my car? u got any other pics of it? maybe from above and what about the filter?

NZConvertible 02-06-02 08:55 PM

That's the shit! With those nice big smooth bends there'd be little turbulence. The only bummer is having to relocate your washer bottle, something I personally don't want to do. What did you do with it?
BTW, why's your AFM upsidedown?

camarokiller 02-06-02 08:56 PM

i will get more pics when it is light again. and i already had to cut the car for a front mount intercooler!

camarokiller 02-06-02 10:52 PM

washer bottle who needs that? afm upsidedown to clear strut tower

sublimeracing 02-07-02 12:46 AM

Hey man thats awesome! What kind of filter are you using??

ItsNiceToBurnRice 02-07-02 02:35 AM

smooth

thats pretty damn smooth my brother, howd you do it, and where does the air actually come in at know?

camarokiller 02-07-02 10:00 AM

I am using a greddy filter and it comes out right before the wheel. The inner fender plastic protects it from dirt and stuff comming off the tire.
I will post pics of the filter asap.
