coilovers

can someone give me some websites that sell coilovers for FCs and some prices. all I have seen them for is more than $2100.00

Silkworm 01-02-02 12:04 AM

http://www.mazdamotorsports.com 1735, includes coilovers, 400/250 ERS springs, Koni's, Eibach swaybars, camber link for the rear and camber plates for the front. Search for your year FC (doesn't matter, all the same anyway), in the suspension section. 2nd or 3rd page in.

Both Silkworm and I have the fantastic Mazda Motorsports kit on our FC's, although most people would consider this overkill for a street-only car. I also have the old Mazda Motorsports Tokico kit on my 1Gen, and it works well in the lighter car. I recommend that you replace the bushings along with the suspension components.

Mazda Motorsports
Part Number K-STG2-91-RX7 is the whole competition suspension kit. They also used to sell KYB and Tokico shocks, so you may want to search for those, too, as well as springs, bushings, swaybars, etc.

If you just do an internet search for shock absorbers you will find a whole lot of vendors. However, it's probably best to stick with a shop that knows something about FC's.

I think the mazda comp one is a bit of over kill for the street. although I´d probably take it if I had the $$, the k2rd kit intrests me. I just found out about it last week and I´m out of town so I´ve yet to find out all the info I want about them before buying.

the other choose is www.ground_control.com

so jason you can get the mazda comp stuff cheaper then what is listed on there page?
