headliner removal
so i started unscrewing the interior trim pieces but i do not know how to remove them. Is there like a tab mechanism holding them in. I need to put a new sunroof in and i didn't see a part on how to remove the headliner in the FSM. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the mirror. Get one of those little trim tools, (has a screwdriver handle and a little v split on the end). You have a trim peice accross the front at the windshield, another at the rear right at the edge of the hatch. Pop those loose and remove them, you may need to use the trim tool, insert it under the trim peice at each plastic snap. Now you will need to remove the trim above the doors and right behind each seat. The headliner may have little tabs holding it in place just pull these back and your done. Hope that helps

you forgot the plastic screws holding the headliner in place and also the trim around the sunfoor hole, just pull on it and it comes off. and of course remove the visors

thanks for the replies guys. got everything off already and i was so close to putting the sunroof in. I was testing out the new one and it was working fine and then suddenly its dead. I tested the motor on the old sunroof which was working before and now its not working either. Do you really need to install the sunroof with it open a bit. Any ideas on why its not working anymore? Fuse?
