That's pretty damn cool!

Holy shit i spent like over 100 bucks on genuine mazda gaskets when i went to replace my turbo.
I would question the quality though because 40 for an entire kit is extremly cheap. That exuast gasket is 60 bucks alone at Mazda.
Hopefully you wont get some random exaust leaks 6 months down the road:(

I'd guess you could always compare the thickness between these and the stock gaskets. I don't know the stock thickness though. I'm glad to see people out there are doing this though!

Here are some pictures of my OEM Mazda gaskets. Thickness is compared with a CD.

Same as above compared with thickness of CD

i had one of the engine to mani gaskets and could not get it to seal properly. I had the manifold surface ground flat and it still leaked some. Finally, I just went to checker and got a gasket for $9.81.

I got the whole set from these guys. I'll say the quality is just fine. My exhaust manifold leaks but it's because its cracked in several places.

These are made of copper and do not "squish" so well to compensate for irregularities in the mating surfaces. In other words if the manifold is warped, it needs to be milled on a surfacing broach for it to seal properly. Usually 15-20 bucks at your local machine shop. The thickness is slightly more than that of a CD. I also read in another post about someone worried that the copper would melt under heavy load, i've had the ol turbo glowin away with no ill effects to the gaskets. check their other items, theve also got some other cool stuff too, i think it's a little over priced though. Just thought id input.
