Clutch squels when put down ? Anyone know why ?
When I drop my clutch down to go into my gear the clutch makes a squeling noise. Now I know this usually happens when let out but this problem is when I push it in . Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

It could be the throw out bearing. If you just lightly push the pedal does it squeal?? Probably time to put in a new throw out bearing.

i have the same thing happen to me when my car is cold.
I'll have to second that, sounds like Throw out bearing to me too.
It probably is the throwout bearing. That means you gotta drop the tranny if it is. Good luck man!

Dizamit need so many things now lol... =( MONEY TRAP !!!
So I would need a whole new tranny ?
No no no! The part is like $20 but the labor will kill you unless you do it yourself. It requires dropping the tranny and replacing a bearing, once you drop the tranny it's a fast install.
Oh thank you god !!!! If I run with this bad bearing does anything bad happen to my tranny or the engine or clutch ?

Wouldn't test it too much. You could be the one who winds up getting towed home. Or if you live in the country, "STUCK":(
