You ever resolve this issue and if so what was the cause?

Also how do you know that those using the S5 trans on their cars are not using the S4 clutch components including the fork? The transmission may not be an issue but the components of the clutch can be. :-)

As of 8/16/2010 I know first hand that you can use a S5 trans with an S5 fork and get proper clutch action.

I give?

Of course you can use a S5 Transmission with a S5 fork!

Were you meaning to say that you can use a S5 transmission with a S4 fork or vice Versus.

Hooray for incomplete thoughts!!

I mean to say, S5 trans w/S5 fork on S4 clutch components. It does not look like you can swap the forks, the geometry of the forks is slightly different.
