Clutch Pedal Travel
 

How far does your clutch pedal come out before it catches? My Camaro has very very little to go before it catches, and my Blazer had to come almost all the way out. Driving the RX7 seems more like my Blazer...it comes almost all the way out before it catches....normal?

I believe the NAs have a very wide sweet spot, but I'm not sure on the Turbo II's.

I have an aftermarket perf. clutch on my TII that has a very narrow sweet spot and squeeks if I don't engage fast enough.

How worn your disc is also has an effect on the release point. The higher up, usually the less clutch disc you have left.

and inturn, it'd slip more right? ... cause my engagement point is pretty high but my clutch isnt slipping.. at all..

Not by much, and that's just the pedal travel, not the clutch engagement/disengagement point. :(

Yeah, but it might help. I had one that had a big ass dead spot in the pedal cause it was way out of adjustment.

So it won't change how far i have to release before it engages? I kinda like the feeling of having it right when you start releasing

isn't it like bleeding brakes? Get some dot 3 break fluid, And pump clutch until it feels how you like it ? Or am I talking about totally different thing ? My clutch will catch right away, not moving clutch pedal much....
