clutch pedal sticks to floor!!
yes i have searched but all i got was that my fluid might be leaking, but i constantly check the reservoir and see no sign of leakage...could it be that i need to bleed the line or is it faulty cylinders?

probly you slave or master. if its sticking try pumping the pedal and if it builds pressure than its one of your cylinders.

either you clutch slave or clutch master cylendar.....if it isnt leaking then probubly the slave

I just dealt with the same problem. First, you have already checked for leaks. Now bleed the system and see if that helps. If not you are looking at rebuilding the slave and master or replacing them. When I took my slave apart it was stuck. My master was completely filthy inside. Autozone sells rebuild kits for cheap. 13 bucks for the slave and 15 for the master. If you need a walkthrough/writeup there is a descent one in the archive section.

Yeah, same deal happened to me a few weeks ago. I didnt see any fluid leaking, but when I squeezed the dust boot on the slave. If fluid comes out, theres your culprit.

mmm....i had a similar issue in the past, but instead i went from a stock pressure plate to an ACT and the clutch pedal no longer sticks.....wondering if i still have an issue that i no longer am aware of due to the upgraded pressure plate.....
|
Mine did it after I replaced both the clutch line to braided, put new master cylinder n slave cylinder in it, we bled it for almost an hour with no luck, My issue was the pressure plate and clutch being gone, cause once it was replaced, the clutch worked fine.

thanks guys, i will try the cheper approach first and if need be, replace the clutch later...by the way will S5 master/slave cylinders fit S4?
