ok i bought a used ic it had been painted black but realy shaby job i might say ,,, so i decuded to start sanding now that took forever ... so i decided to douce it with easy offf the heavy duty kinda .. now what that has done is left my ic somewaht coroded .. i was wondering .. a good soak in C.L.R. that should clear things up right and then just continue to light sand and polish ?... i want it to shine ... lol ..

I used aitrcraft stripper on my rims when I repainted them. That stuff will make the paint peal right off.

yeah i heard about the aircraft stripper ...see the thing is the easy off was great .. it basicaly melted the pasint right off .. and required mild rubbing to remove it but it left some nasty lime deposits and some preaty thick corosion .. i only left it for about 30 mins lol .. stupid oven cleaner
