Maybe your trans mount is broken?

Sounds more like bad u-joints to me. Free FSM online for .....free. It has a seciton on the drive shaft.

well i know one of the u-joints is bad because when i hit about 110 a sudden strong pulsing vibration begines! i heard it mught be the rear, but as far as the trans bracket being broke can i verify that visually?

boosted1205 11-25-04 02:05 AM

Actually I meant the trans. crossmember. There shouldn't be any play there.
If that U joint is making THAT much vibrations, you oughta fix that. LOL
You should get it up on stands and check your suspension...including that U-Joints
Your subject should be like...THUNK...or THUD...not click.
