Checking if the ports work
Hey guys ;) what's a quick way to check if my 5th and 6th ports open, and open properly? They're pretty difficult to push, however, they're much better than they were before i sprayed them with wd40 and penetrating lube

Get a 3/16 VACU-TITE barbed , plastic pipe from the Pepboys or whatever auto store. Punch or drill a hole in the airpump outlet hose of a size just smaller than 3/16ths. Install the VACU-TITE 3/15 pipe. Run a vac hose b/t there and the inlet pipe for the aux actuators. Start the engine. The actuators should retract on a 86-88. Or just get a shop airhose and with low pressure, aim it at the inlet pipe for the aux actuators. They should retract. Or get yourself a MittyVAc from the LOCAL AUTO SSTORE. Apply pressure at the intake port of the aux actuators. Or put a vac hose on the inlet pipe for the aux actuators and blow like the dickens. The actuators may/ may not retract. Only take 2-3psi to actuate them.

If they are hard to push in by hand then they are not opening when the car is running. They should be easy to move in and not stick at any point on the way down or up.
