changin struts

do u have to change both the struts if one front one is bent...? i am jw because i have a front passenger strutbent and i am wondering if you have to change both them since obviously they wont be the same unless i get oem... so please ne help appreciated

Technically 1 will work but you'll really hurt the handling. Basically the tire with the new strut is being held against the road better than the other. Better to do a pair. Or if all of them are old then it's time to do all 4 anyway, broken strut or not.

Changing only one, or even just one end will make the handling uneven. Your best bet is to get all new ones, or at very least change both on one end with OEM's.

most aftermarket companies do a good job these days making "simular" products...oem would be outrageously expensive these days..go with tokicos or other simular strut/shock company and you will be fine. preferably all 4 at once minimal both front changed...only one is no exception. i might actually still have all 4 of my t2 struts shocks laying round i can sell you cheap if need be.
