Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft

Is there a difference in length or mounting between an s4 and an s5? |
Mazdatrix lists 4 different driveshafts for the FC, one for an S4 non-turbo, one for an S5 non-turbo, one for automatics, and one for Turbos.
I'd hazard the guess that it's a turbo driveshaft, in which case it should be the same for S4 and S5, but it'll only fit if you've got the TII tranny and diff. |
Unless you are doing some serous compeditive racing (with lots of prize money involved) that seems like a total waste of money. If you want a light drive shaft you can pay less-than half that for an aluminum one from mazdatrix.

I suppose the only way to really find out would be to inquire at the source... The page doesn't say anythign about whether it's for the N/A or TII. |
if I had that kinda money 2 through around i'd buy it, just to say i have it, but it's minimal gains otherwise

Is there a difference in length or mounting between an s4 and an s5? Why buy through a 3rd party vendor when you can go direct to the source... http://www.acpt.com/ It doesn't matter if it's turbo or non-turbo. They custom make them for each order. -Ted |
