car will run but wont start after warm
 

idk i have 2 do the unflodding process to get it to work but wen it idles it fluctuates from 1200 1500 it runs good no smoke or popping just runs idles like shit all the vacume lines are closed but still wont idle right ne suggestions

Honestly the best thing is to start eliminating problems and go from there. I dont know how many miles are on your engine or what kind of shape that its in. But if you have to cut your fuel system to clear it out and get it started then its best to just have a compression test done. While the plugs are out you can clean or replace them to help your starting issue if your compression is still good.

As for your idle, does it still bounce 1200-1500 when its up to temp?

yes it does bounce up wen warm

adjust your TPS.
and the Flooding Issue maybe the water Temp sender at the back of the water pump.It tells the Ecu when the car is warm and cold
.If it Fries,then it Says to the car,I am Cold all the time.It then Dumps extra fuel in.,making it OK to drive,But Try starting it when warm?Nope!.you have to Pop the EGI fuse and Deflood it to start it...This symptom is also a Sign of dirty fuel injectors.So check that out too,if possible.

but your saying that if the thermostat goes out and its running coolant full speed all the time it causes the car to get worse gas mileage?
hmm.. this could be why i get 9 mpg......

thermostat and Thermo sending unit are two different animals all together.,
you should just Glide through the Parts Manual and the Factory service manual to see what I mean.
The Thermo sending unit is a sensor with a Green connector located on the water pump housing,sort of hidden by the alternator.
and BTw if the Thermostat goes,It usually will go by Staying CLOSED(sticking),and your Temp will shoot up Real quick like.
Car could be getting 9 MPG because if a Faulty O2,but this is not the place to discuss your problem.(let the Op get his info).

+1 For the temp sensor. Mine worked, was plugged in, but the wires were broken. Unfortunately, to absolutely know if it's working, you have to voltage drop it at the ecu.
