cant get new sway bars to fit right
 

I just put front st anti sway bars in and i cant seem to get the end links to fit the brackets they sent me. i put it back in the right way i just cant seem to get the end links to line up, has anyone had this problem and can you help me out? Or can i use the old end links for the stock anti sway bar( wouldnt use it if its going to snap though)?

how exactly are they not fitting? we just did this on my friends 240 3 days ago.. for the front we had to have the car jacked up, then jack up the control arm to get the bolt up to reach the sway bar. maybe that will help you or maybe you could try to describe it a little more.

i tried to jack up the control arms, but when its lowered i have an inch of space in between the bracket and the end link, how much space did you have?

i think 240 is a little different... the end links for the ST kit were just a bolt that goes straight up through the control arm and into the sway bar with some bushing on each side.

thats got to be different than mine. I know that i can get the old ones to fit. But im not sure if they'll hold up to the thicker bars. What do you think?

they'll probably hold up, but i would try really hard to use the stuff the ST kit came with... maybe get a second person to look at it for a fresh idea
