Cannot find the F***ing Ecu!

Anyone have any pictures of where the ecu is located on a s5 n/a (91) I can't find in and i keep getting sick trying to find it under my passenger dash. I am getting desperate (just got an S-AFC yesterday and cant hook it up until I find it!) Please Help :)
The FSM doesn't have anything on it, and neither does haynes.

You'll need to remove the plastic kickplate on the passenger side, lift the carpet, remove the 10mm nuts from the floor plate, and there she lies. It's not directly under the dash, it lies basically on the floor, under the carpet. Good luck.

It's the Mazda anti-theft location as stated above.

Oh so it is under the floor instead of above it. Thanks!

You sure haynes and the FSM doesnt have anything on it? im pretty sure it does, if not.. thats just retarded bc not everyone is born knowing where the ECU is. hhmm...

I looked in haynes and they have a very misleading diagram according to it it looks like it is above the floor panel above the heater core but the above is right it is under the kick plate located under the passenger side carpet you will have to take up the door frame moulding and side panel moulding and the 10 mm nuts as well as the three connections but it actually is quite easy to do i changed mine in out from start to finish in 15 min.

good luck

The knock control box is buried up in the kick panel. Its sort of small.
