Cannot check engine codes...
My check engine light came on and when I ground the green one pin connector that is by the leading coil the check engine light just stays on. Doesn't blink or anything. What's up with that?

Make sure you get a good ground connection at the initial set connector. The CEL will come on and stay on without this grounded. If the initial set connector is grounded, the CEL will come on, then go off and start flashing any codes it has stored. The ground connection from the initial set connector has to be to bare metal. Give it another try.

I used the neg. terminal on the battery, and I have a wire jammed into the test connector making good contact.

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the wiring of the initial set connector is bad. Trace the wiring to see if maybe its broken or frayed and shorted....
