Can you use brake fluid to clean fuel injectors?

I heard you can soak your fuel injectors in DOT3 brake fluid to clean them, is this true?

clean the outside or inside? send them to witchhunter to have the internals cleaned.

Both, just pour some in a jar and let it soak.

its not necessarily that i am a cheap ass lol, its just i got laid off of work last month and i only get like $55 a week from my unemployment check. so i dont reallly have much money, and i heard it works from a few friends so i wanted to hear what everyone else thought.

well i have some spare DSM injectors so i will see how well it cleans them.

it might work being that brake fluid will eat paint off of stuff. But why not just buy a bottle of injector cleaner additive and soak them in that? its about the same price and is meant for that.
