can you mix and match

say......s5 TII front housing....s4 rotor housings....NA middle housings...s4 rotor housing.... s4 rear housing or plate? with s4 TII rotors and rotating assembly?

I would think it is ok I dont have much experience but I have heard of a lot of people running s4 n/a rotors in s4 and s5 tII engines. But Im no pro either just my .02

there is some variations with most all housings, mostly port timing. if you ported the housings then most will work in any application but you have to remember that iron's for n/a front and rear are 6 port, the middle iron should work but would need a hole tapped in some applications for the center intake manifold bolt to work for a turbo. if you use n/a rotor housings then you need to do a few things to make them compatible, first is removing the diffuser and drilling a coolant passage for the turbo.

keep your rotating assemblies matched though, if you change anything then you should ask if you can swap rotors or balancer, etc..

anyturbo engine parts can be mixed matched and any n/a shit can be mixed up....
the only things that shouldnt be mixed is, turbo and n/a shit...

"shouldn't" being the key word. turbo stuff is kind of tough to find sometimes so you can improvise but only if really necessary.

turbo stuff isnt hard to find at all, there are people selling a whole shitload of stuff on the for sale section... I find them at local shops and parts cars. Although you can exchange housings, even through series...

find me a set of T2 rotor housings... or even a set of T2 irons.

i thought so.
