Can a S4 Greddy TD06SH Turbo Kit install on an S5 TII

Can a S4 Greddy TD06SH Turbo Kit install on an S5 TII?

Does anyone know what the differences are between the kits?

11540010 vs 11540011

Thanks

I'd assume there interchangable since you can swap S4 and S5 stock turbos

ViperKillerWannabe 06-10-03 01:53 PM

The manifolds might be different. Give em a call and ask.

oil return lines are situated different not sure how the GReddy kit compensates for such minor things.

just tell us it's the auction on ebay we already know ;)

check singleturbo section there is a post about the seller.. still in the air if he's shiesty or not.. all his previous auctions were for 20 - 110 bucks then all of a sudden a load of turbo kits.

Scott 89t2 06-10-03 02:01 PM

does it come with it's own manifold? if not then it won't fit. unless you got an S4 manifold. and as above maybe S4 oil lines.

Yeah I really don't know what it comes with.
Can't find the name through searching...highendmotorsport_com..i don't think this is the one you were talking about

Anyway, thanks for the info..

The TD06SH kit is not a hybrid. It comes with I/C, cast manifold, wastegate, oil lines etc. The exh a/r is I *think* .63 and it is on the small side. It's not a turbo swap by any means.

Who sells this turbo kit with the i/c? The turbo kit is different from the i/c kit from which there are two. One that has plumbing for the stock turbo and the other that has plumbing for their td06 turbo. Either way all I've seen are seperate kits.

There are kits that have everything for an upgrade including the IC. The last time I checked it was about $2600. for the kit. I don't know the part number though. The TD06SH and all Greddy turbos are Mitsubishi turbos. The rebuild kits are expensive compared to Garrett turbos.
I heard there was a hybrid but never looked into it.
The TD06SH 20G I believe it's called. It has a slightly larger comp wheel compared to the TD05 that's popular with the Mitsubishi Talons and Eclipses.

they don't come with an IC...

they come with a turbo, manifold, oil lines, adapter pipe so the stock downpipe bolts up. and exteral WG.

Hmm....this site shows with IC as a kit. I know the Japan kit has IC included in the kit.
As you know you cannot mount the turbo with stock IC.
I would imagine it would come with the IC if it is a kit. It would make more sense.

"The pictured kit is for reference only as an idea of what you will receive."

for $2600 you only get the turbo

RX-Heven 06-11-03 12:06 AM

LOL.
They have a 20G and you can get the 25G. The TD06 25G is the kit that is going into my TII vert conversion.

I stand corrected. I called and it is for only the turbo kit and not IC.
I told them the picture is deceiving since it says " an idea what you'll get in the kit". He said they posted the wrong picture. LOL.
Weird how the Japan and US kits differ.
