Can I remove a center cap emblem?
I found a nice set of wheels from a 97 Accord. The bolt pattern is the same so I quess they should work. But, the center cap has the Honda H on them. Is there a way to remove the emblem, cover it up, paint it or some other ingenious way that I can remove it. I found the wheels in a salvage yard near me and the price is definitely right. But, if I can't get rid of the center cap emblem......... I'll just have to pass them up.
thanks........... ashley :) :) |
if its recessed, you can probubly just use a little bondo, sand it smooth, then paint it... but youll probubly have to paint the whole wheel, cause it wont look right....

i think on those wheels, the center thing with the raised H just peels off there, but dont quote me on that.
another thing to check is if the hub spindle hole is the same size, as if its wrong they wont work. pat |
The vast majority of Honda alloys use a plastic centercap. Knock them out from behind (they all clip in,) sand, and paint them silver.
I doubt the center bore is right though. |

offset...not real close. within 10-15mm
