Can anyone ID this short-shifter?

I just picked this up for fairly cheap, and apparently it's out of an fc s4 n/a tranny. All of the hardware works and fits, i'm just curious about the shifter itself; why is the ball so much smaller? It is going into an n/a s4 transmission.

Anyways, can someone ID this shifter? (Right = short shifter, Left = oem shifter)

Alright just making sure. It feels awful, extremely difficult to move, so I probably won't use it. Thanks though I appreciate the feedback.

Don't give up on it yet, some shimming of the bushes could solve the problem.
My "no-name" Ebay kit came with OEM Mazda bushings, so I was confident the parts were OK but like you, I found the operation unacceptable.
Using Dykem ( blue machinist dye) I discovered that the ball was not seating into the lower bush, so I went to Ace and found suitable shims in the plumbing gaskets.
Took a few tries but the end result is very good.
