Can anybody tell me where the "OTHER" two fuel injectors are on the 1991 RX7 motor
i just mad the crossover from honda to mazda... and i don't know sNit about RX7 motors... or mazda for that matter
i got a White 1991 rx7 convertible.. clean it need new fuel injector because the acceleration i found the top ones on the passenger side... but i can't find the other ones.... any spec pics or directions??? |
I haven't looked much at an NA, but i'm guessing they're underneath the intake manifold... Anyways, how do you know the injectors are causing problems? "because the acceleration"? Sorry, it could be alot of things...
Edit: and WHY did you post that in this section? |
yea, that's a big assumption that it is the fuel injectors..... it could be many many many many other things. but to answer your question, the primaries are located close together, close to the block, right where the intake manifold meets the block. The secondaries are located higher up on the manifold.

they are right underneath the fuel rail on the block.
acceleration can be a vast amount of different problems. |

That said, you will find the secondary injectors on the top of the upper intake manifold. There is a long fuel rail on the passenger side of the car with two injectors on the outer intake runners. The primary injectors are located under the intake manifold on the middle engine iron. Hard to see with the intake in place. |
thanx.... just remeber im not a vet and mazda motors so im not gonna know the basic stuff
i figure its the injectors because with hondas if there is not enough fuel supplied to the spark it will jerk if you mash on the gas... and the same will happen if the FMU on turbo motors is not tuned right...... plus the guy i got it from told me that was what his mechanic said the problem was... so im kinda at the mercy of their word |
