Camber alignment.

i jus went to a shop that does alignment, but only to factory spec. does anyone know any place around the 94014 area that does custom spec alignment? and is it bad to have factory spec alignment on a lowered car? i heard spec camber has a lot of understeer, and i want to get rid of that. on factory spec, wont it take away some of the positive things lowering springs do?

you can't adjust the rear camber. right now it's probably way off and the shop didn't change it.

the front can barley get changed. only 1/2 a degree of range.

before you bother to get another alignment you need to get a rear camber adjuster rod. most rx7 places have them

Yes, the rear camber adjustment rod is widely available from most aftermarket vendors... It's a pretty trick part too! Once you get rid of the factory non adjustable junk you'll have a full range of choices to make camber changes in the rear.

Just for reference, my Chamber adjust rod was $50-ish new.

good luck,

well should lowering the car maybe 1 inch ( looks like it ) with 15' wheels and 50 diameter have a lot of camber? it did with the old wheels it had, the inside of the tire wore out.... if the wheels are noticeably toe-out then is that bad? should i try driving it for a certain amount of time then checking it? maybe i can take some pics of post it......in a few min...

so if i got camber plates, then i could correct the desired camber myself? i kinda need some help with suspension setup, i've been reading for an hour now, cant seem to find enough... i correct the toe angle, then get some camber plates and i'll be fine?

......until i get coilovers........
