There is a small diameter pulley next to the a/c compressor which is used and this pulley has a bolt in the front of it which needs to be loosened some so as to slide the pulley down thus allowing enough slack to slide the new belt on. The belt also goes on the main pulley which houses the other belts as well. From the front of the main pulley ( part closer to the front of the car) lies the first groove in the pulley which is for the power steering belt if so equipped. The next groove is for the A/C. The belt can be snaked over the fan blade to get it into position thus the belt goes onto the main pulley then the adjustment pulley then onto the A/C compressor pulley. To retighten the pulley you can place a screw driver under the pulley and through the slot used to adjust the pulley and you can then use the screw driver for leverage to push up the adjustment pulley with one hand and a wrench to tighten the center bolt of the adjustment pulley with the other. The amount of give/deflection the belt should have is in the FSM but I remember it to be 1/4 to 3/8ths of an inch when 20 lbs of force is applied to the belt at a point located half way between the A/C pulley and main pulley focusing on the part of the belt which is closest to the ground. Also, there are 2 belt sizes available. One for the factory compressor, Nippon Denso, and another one for the aftermarket compressor, Sanden, although both should work just fine.
