Busted Fuel Line :(
 

My fuel line on my s4 got busted (damn rust), started to leak underneat just next to the rear wheel, doesn't drip alot (yeat) but can smell and get ur finger wet when touch, So i need to replace about 3ft starting from tank. so my questions are

Where can I get fuel line? Do i need stock lines?

Does any one know where to get universal (bendable tubing), is there such thing?

Can i replace fuel tubing with fuel hose?

you can use any fuel lines that are available at most automotive stores.yes u can use a fuel hose in place of a metal fuel line as long as there are no sharp bends.

Stock lines are EXPENSIVE, I can attest to that. But it saved me a long ass time bending lines.

When I got mine there were only 4 complete sets in North America.

but there is bendable tubing right?

Most fuel lines bought in auto part stores are easy to bend. Last time i got mine, it was sold in a 15 foot package that was coiled around in a circle. It was easy to bend it back out straight and around stuff.

I've replaced that part of my fuel line aswell. I just ran a new ones from front to back just as it turns up then used a new hose to the tank.

If you replace the whole line, imo, go for the knockout and replace everything. If one line is that bad I bet the other lines are getting around to being broken sooner rather then later.

It was a couple of years ago. The brand was Fairview, can't remember where i bought it. I was doing my brake lines at the same time, i can't remeber if i just bought bigger brake line or an aluminum line. I would think that it should be fairly generic from any autopart store.

if you use rubber fuel lines make sure it is for EFI..high pressure line.the old Carbed lines are only rated at about 6-12 PSI and will blow out..Catastrophically!
