building my dad's TII

I am building a 87 rx7 TII for my dad to autocross and hillclimb. And I have a few questions hopefully some T2 guys can help me with. First off how much boost can you run on a T2? The car has a FCD and a turbo timer and I just purchased a 3" turbo back exhaust. I plan on ethier porting the stock waste gate or going with a tubular manifold with external waste gate.
My main concern is fuel...do I need to run larger injectors and at what boost do these become a must, and what size are needed? Do I need to run some sort of aftermarket engine managment? I plan on controlling boost with a HKS manual boost controller.
I am also thinking of running a greddy pop off valve as a fail safe for boost creap.

I allready purchased a wide body kit from hewittsmotorsports.com and plan on going all out with this car for my dad!

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

sounds like a fun project anything past 9 to 10 psi start upgrading fuel system maybe 720 secondarys and a walbro 255lph for fuel management id go either with a standalone if you can afford it about $1200 new or an Apexi SAFC about $300 stock turb can only boost around 14psi constantly without spooling the shit out of the turbo so i would upgrade to maybe a T04B run a FMIC and you should be good to go for a nice track car...

I would suggest for a mildly modded car that you run an rtek7 v1.7 with 760s in the secondary slots.

ok first off if you are planning on just keeping the stock turbo I would just stick with an safc unless you don't mind the 1200 for a stand alone and the money to tune it with. Most say and I believe because I used this setup for a while that if you are going to stick with the stock turbo then the 550's are fine but to upgrade the fuel pump because the fuel pump leans out way before the injectors. Now if you are going to go with the rtek 1.7 chip then you will need the 720's if you don't know what the rtek does or is go to www.pocketlogger.com. the stock turbo and intercooler lose efficiancy around 11 or 12psi anything more on either will prove more harm then good. There are some People on this sight that say they boost more than 12psi and see good results with it however they are few and far between. Anything more than 12 or so psi on the stock intercooler is a good way to detonate your engine. The best thing you can do is get the rtek 1.7, safc and 720's.

how much rwhp do you want, thats the first thing, and is this on pump gas? 91 or 93 or racegas?
