broken toe bolt

installed a set of coilovers today and after fiddling around with the ride height for a while, i got it where i wanted it and pulled it up on the alignment rack... right side adjusted ok but when i went to loosen the nut that holds the toe on the left side... the end of the bolt snapped off.

2 questions..... will i have to drop the subframe to replace that... and where would i find a replacement at? i haven't been able to find one

We talking front of the car or back? The front adjusts via the tie rods.

sorry, it was the rear.

You will at the very least have to loosen it off and pry it down. Dropping it down might prove easier.

Mazda sells cam bolts, else try a wanted ad on the forums.

Geez, that's rusty. Did you find this car in the ocean?

you do have to drop the subframe, but not all the way, just enough to get the bolt out.

some people say that if you put the bolt in the other way the subframe doesn't need to come down, but it does, it hits something (the diff?)
