break-in-period for 6 puck copper CLUTCH?

Yea i need to kno how long u break in the ACT 6 Puck copper S/S clutch. i read the little paper that come with it and it only pertain to organic clutch. do puck clutch even need a break in? also how do u break it?

as far as length wise I don't know about your 6 puck. My CF dual friction said around 450 - 500 miles. As far as how to breakin just don't drop your clutch, and just drive around as usual.

I don't beieve the pucked race clutches need break in...

I say no break in. Just hold on for dear life and hope the drivetrain doesn't desintegrate. Good Luck.

I don't think a base S4 drivetrain could take that abuse very long...the TII should put up w/ it (we're talking BANGING shifts here).

alrite thx guys, BTW I have a 88 tii with a 91 tii motor, and the S4 tii tranny. The clutch is originally for a 88 tii, but I will be using the 91 flywheel.

Slap it in, get used to it for a day then take it out and bark every gear. Its one of my favorite mods.

ACT 6 and 4 puck clutches require no break in period, slap it in and go to work.
