Brakes; S5 GTU ~> S4 TII

Seeing as my brakes are locked up from the car sitting so long, I think I need to do something new.

From what I understand, I need the 4 rotors, 4 calipers, 4 (short) hard lines, and all the hardware from the TII; which will all bolt to my GTU's current setup, correct? ~CE/LA

yep, but you should also true the rotors, to do it right.

Liquid Anarchy 02-02-04 02:17 PM

True the rotors? Sorry Mark, unfamiliar with the term... or did you mean turn.

JerryLH3 02-02-04 02:18 PM

I think he's referring to having the rotors turned by a shop, if using used rotors. Or just buy new ones for an FC with the four piston brakes.

Yep, there are a lot of warped used rotors out there, and not making them true (or straight or turn them or use new rotors) will often make your upgrade a waste of money
