Which Brake pads?
 

I found a set of brake pads for my '88 N/A w/4 lug, and I was wondering how I can tell if they are the front pads or the rear. I don't have the car or any other means of comparing them at the moment. Could someone describe them to me, or the differences.

look at the shape of the pads in your car now. just take a wheel off and you should be able to see. only one wheel would be nessascary to remove, since if it's different you know what it is.

My car is an hour and a half away, and I found these brake pads in my garage, but I don't remember if they are a front or rear set. Before I drive an hour and a half with front brake pads to replace my rear ones, I'd like to know which ones they are. That way I can go buy rear ones if they are for the front.

well when you go to the parts store compare them

Go to www.hawkperformance.com. Look up the brake for the rx-7 and look at the shapes of them - its listed as hard suspention.

The rears are smaller than the fronts.

He only has one set. From my understanding, 2 brake pads. Hard to tell if they're smaller if he has nothing to compare them to.
