brake line size
I need to replace my front passenger hard line at the caliper. It would save me some time if I bought a small length of brake line from the auto parts store before I go into the shop to replace it. Anyone know the size and thread pitch of the line I would need?

I mic'd a spare breakline just about 5 mm o.d. why not cut the break ends off, clean them up, reuse them on the new line or take the old one in and matchup the pitch and thread

NAPA and most of the box part stores carry some selection of generic premade hard line that works fine. Your other option is to delete the hardline altogether and run a flex hose from the wheelwell joint all the way to the caliper. I never understood the point of the hardline with it's extra connection anyway. |

The fittings are 10mm x 1.0 and you need a Japanese flare (not a European bubble flare).
